last meaningful update: 2026-05-04. plain english. no dark patterns.
what stays on your phone (never synced).
- brain weather (the 4-axis daily check-in)
- buddy customization (color, mood, name, accessories)
- your "currently…" widget tags
- your survival-mode custom essentials
- quiet-mode timer state
- celebration intensity preference
- which mode you've picked (default / goblin / anchor / survival)
this list lives in your phone's local storage. uninstalling the app erases it. there is no recovery — by design.
what gets cloud-synced (so you can sign in on a new device).
- your account: email, display name, hashed password
- your beacons (logged actions and their timestamps)
- your saved templates (routines and check-ins)
- your settings (theme, accent color, sounds, reminders)
- circles you've joined or created, and shared beacons
this data lives in supabase (a managed postgres database) with row-level security so other users cannot read it. you can delete your account by emailing us and the row gets removed.
