privacy.

last meaningful update: 2026-05-04. plain english. no dark patterns.

what stays on your phone (never synced).

  • brain weather (the 4-axis daily check-in)
  • buddy customization (color, mood, name, accessories)
  • your "currently…" widget tags
  • your survival-mode custom essentials
  • quiet-mode timer state
  • celebration intensity preference
  • which mode you've picked (default / goblin / anchor / survival)

this list lives in your phone's local storage. uninstalling the app erases it. there is no recovery — by design.

what gets cloud-synced (so you can sign in on a new device).

  • your account: email, display name, hashed password
  • your beacons (logged actions and their timestamps)
  • your saved templates (routines and check-ins)
  • your settings (theme, accent color, sounds, reminders)
  • circles you've joined or created, and shared beacons

this data lives in supabase (a managed postgres database) with row-level security so other users cannot read it. you can delete your account by emailing us and the row gets removed.

what we don't do.

  • no advertising. no ad tracking. no data sold.
  • no analytics on this marketing site (no posthog, mixpanel, GA, plausible).
  • no third-party trackers in the app.
  • no cookies on tinycounts.com beyond what your browser sets for the site itself.
